Rostra has been making press tools and injection moulds and stamping sheet-metal parts in Vizovice since 2000. After 26 years we are a class A supplier to the automotive industry, certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (both companies) and IATF 16949 (ROSTRA Stamping press shop).

Two sister companies, one site
Both companies are based on the same site, share the management and work closely together — a tool built at Tools moves seamlessly to Stamping for series production and lifetime maintenance. The split on 1 January 2025 allowed more targeted investment in the equipment of each activity.

A press tool or mould determines the whole series production that will run on it for years. That is why we do not treat an order as a one-off delivery — we design the tool so that it is easy to build, try out, run and service.
Our designers often come up with a design change that saves the customer material — if the tool can work with a narrower strip, that saves hundreds of thousands to millions of crownsin series production. The same applies after delivery: as standard we hand over, try out and service the tool both at our site and at the customer's.
Car makers and Tier-1 suppliers across Europe
Our stampings and parts from our tools drive in cars from European and Asian car makers. Our long-term customers include the automotive Tier-1 suppliers Benteler, Magna, Valeo and ITW.

The specifics of oversized, heavily loaded parts confirmed that automotive processes and precision transfer well to other industries.

An operation driven by an experienced team
The machines are run by designers, process engineers, setters, toolmakers, CNC programmers and operators who have often worked with us for decades. Most colleagues live within commuting distance — Vizovice, Zlín, Slušovice and the surrounding area.

Where are you located?
ROSTRA Tools and ROSTRA Stamping share one site at Říčanská 989, 763 12 Vizovice, Czech Republic. It is a 20-minute drive from the centre of Zlín and 30–45 minutes from the D1 motorway, depending on the day of the week.
What is the difference between ROSTRA Tools and ROSTRA Stamping?
Tools is the tool shop — it designs and builds press tools, moulds and precision machined parts. Stamping is the press shop — it stamps sheet-metal parts in series on presses up to 800 t. The companies were split on 1 January 2025 but operate on one site.
Who do you produce for?
Primarily for the automotive industry — our parts, or parts from our tools, can be found in Škoda, BMW, Porsche, Volvo, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz and other brands. We supply Tier-1 suppliers such as Benteler, Magna, Valeo and ITW.
What certifications do you hold?
ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (both companies), IATF 16949 (ROSTRA Stamping). Rated as a class A supplier.
Can you build a tool and put it straight into series production?
Yes. A tool from ROSTRA Tools moves seamlessly to ROSTRA Stamping, where we try it out, test it and start series production.
